Hotel Industry Association of Guangzhou has worked out the guiding prices for hotel rooms during the upcoming 107th and 108th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair). And the Guangzhou Municipal Price Bureau has published it recently with specific prices.

The guiding rates for 5 star hotels are set as follows: RMB 1990 for a standard room, RMB 2200 for a deluxe room, and RMB 3300 for a business room.

The guiding prices for standard rooms, deluxe rooms and business rooms at 4 star hotels will be RMB 1530, RMB 1680 and RMB 2200, respectively.

The rates for these three types of rooms at 3 star hotels will be RMB 908, RMB 1000 and 1460, respectively. And the rates for two-star hotels will be RMB 505, RMB 555 and RMB 830, respectively.

The guiding prices do not apply to platinum five-star hotels.

All of the above rates do not include service charges. Hotels operators may set rates for other types of rooms on the basis of the above three types of rooms, but the rates cannot exceed the mandated guiding prices. Hotel operators are allowed to set rates for suites according to demand.
