Tickets for the Guangzhou Asian Games will go on sale in January 2010, according to the Marketing Department of Guangzhou Asian Games. It's said that an official ticketing website will be set up on November 12 and tickets can be bought after registering there.

The tickets will be offered in three phases, the first phase will be from January to March, 2010, the second from July to August and the third from October to end of the games. Customers are advised to pre-register ticket accounts at the website, read through the ticket sales tips and make a ticket purchase plan before January.

So far, ticket allocation plan for opening and closing ceremony of Asian Games has been approved, according to the Marketing Department of the games. At the same time, the service provider for ticket sales has been fixed already. Bids inviting ticket outlets and hotlines as well as ticket making and dispatching have all started already.
