Hometown Theme Park

Home Village is cultural theme park of Ancient South China. Situated at picturesque Prince Mountain, it is on the boundary between Guangzhou city and Qingyuan city of "drifting hometown" and "hot spring hometown". And it is next to Guangzhou-Qingyuan expressway and at new international airport area of Huadu district. With an ecologically natural reservoir of 533 hectares, it is enjoying a god-given environment.

Home Village is subordinate to Country Garden Group. It was built in August 2005, occupying 13 hectares of land, 8 hectares of which was developed at the first stage. It is called the "Imperial Palace in the Southern Area of the Five Ridges". There are 8 areas inside，ancient architectures of the southern area of the Five Ridges, exhibition of our ancestors' life (including a grand show of ancestors' living articles and vivid waxwork scene), handicraft workshop, competitive amusement park (including and on-land competition and aquatic competition), motorized entertainment programs, farmland, pond and zoo. The first half of Home Village is an area about the folk customs of the Southern Area of the Five Ridges, including ancient architectures of the southern area of the Five Ridges, exhibition of our ancestors' life and handicraft workshop, which mainly show the outlook of water villages in the southern area of the Five Ridges, truly reproduce the unsophisticated look of ancient towns in the southern area of the Five Ridges as well as and our ancestors' living scenes. Ancient materials from ancient towns and water villages in the southern area of the Five Ridges were directly used for its construction. More than 3 million blue tiles more than one hundred years old were used. It was built with traditional workmanship and by means of relocation from the original site. All the production tools, folk items are the originals. The handicrafts shown are the ones that integrate ordinary people's intelligence and are about to be lost. Many ancestors' living scenes and folk items are so vivid, arousing the memories of the elderly people who once experienced such a life, and letting youngsters in the new generation appreciate ancestors' experience in the old days and cherish their life today.

The second half of Home Village is an area about entertainment and nature, mainly including a natural farmland planted with farm crops in different seasons, a wild animal zoo that is the favorite of children, in which there are peacocks, crocodiles and ostriches, butterfly valley in the tropical rain forest, where various butterflies are flying spectacularly, and a competition zone with more than 30 on-land and aquatic competition programs and outdoor competition programs, which is a paradise for tourists who love outdoor activities and thrilling stimulation. In addition, you will be totally lost in having fun in big motorized games, exciting hurricane flying chair, rollercoaster luxury rollercoaster, waving happy express car, and more, which all add a joyful ambience to Home Village.
