Pretty nice
Well located, quite near city centre and metro station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, some expensive and some pretty cheap. As for the hotel, I had a superior room and it was very nice. Big, comfortable bed, large window, good a/c, good WiFi and mostly clean bathroom. The TV had heaps of stations, all Chinese though. On the downside the fridge wasn't very cold. There was a basic mini bar. Staff were friendly but don't speak much English. Breakfast was decent with a variety of Chinese and western foods. While there was plenty to eat none of it was particularly amazing, but still good enough to fill up on. Overall I had a good stay here and it seemed like pretty good value.

really bargain
The hotel room is quite comfortable for single traveler but not recommended for family with kids. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. With it 3 star price, this hotel is really a bargain.

just so-so
The location is close to several restaurants, and close to the zoo. Not far from Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. Also, there is a commercial center at a reasonable distance. You may need a taxi to get to the center of the city. Rooms have Internet access. The wall between the room and the bath is made of glass, though you have a curtain to block the view. The rooms don’t have a wardrobe nor a safety box nor a PC.

highest value for money
This hotel is just the right choice, especially when you don’t know how long you’re going to be in the city. Clean, affordable, safe, and have good Internet. Better quality and price than a hostel. Great services and service persons. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Dedicated DSL modem in each room. Posh utilitarian lobby with decent music every day. Decent Chinese breakfast. 2 RMB gets you a decent tiny cup of coffee. Only complaint was some construction that I know was completely out of the hotel’s hands. 15 RMB ride to American Consulate. Less busy than Motel 168. Highly recommend this place as the highest value in Guangzhou for the money.

good loc & hospital staff
Centralized location. Staff are hospitable and offers good services and homely atmosphere. Yet English needs improvement. Rooms are clean. There is also food for vegetarians.

It’s not near to the train station, but very easy to get a cab right outside the hotel. There are a vast variety of restaurants just below the hotel. Receptionist can speak basic English. However, hotel amenities are basic and additional items are charged.

good location
Good location with subway just 10min walk from the hotel. More varieties of international cuisines and breakfast choices would be better. Include more English TV channels.

not so bad
The hotel is not so bad. Staff were efficient and remembered to give us the morning call we wanted. There was some hiccup during the last day as they couldn’t find our booking reservation but in the end it was settled.

cheap and nice
Hotel is cheap and nice. Location is Ok, not far from the metro. However, environment needs improvement and it’s a little far from the main attractions.

nothing to complain about
The location is good, with easy access to subway. The hotel provides free Internet access and national wide local calls. For the price, there’s nothing to complain about.
