great location, decent hotel
my wife, daughter and I stayed here for four nights.. the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially for our newborn in providing a crib. the western food is terrible, chinese food was authentic cantonese and the dim sum for lunch was a winner

Decent hotel
Went there during a business trip for the Canton Fair last October. The rooms are decent and spacious, the breakfast is a mixed bag, but the buffet at night (Fish food open buffet) is excellent. The problem is the location. For tourists and newcomers, it's hard to travel around, as taxis rarely come by, but for those who are a little aware, they can find the subway station 10 min away by walk.

First time to Guangzhou
After staying at a hotel in Shangqui the previous night, I can only say how pleased I was to arrive in Guangzhou and to find this hotel. The room is large, very clean and has great wifi connection which is important for me. The chinese restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food but Id suggest you don't order from the menu displayed on the table. They have a much larger menu available but they seem to be pushing the expensive meals and hide the lower priced meals. This is only my first night, but so far so good!

A nice hotel
The room was clean, modern and quite spacious. The breakfast was ok. The staff quite helpful. The place is quite close to the train station (and metro), but as a foreigner I couldn't figure out the direction so I took taxis there. Staff help with that.

OK for the price
Hotel / rooms are clean and the staff was friendly. Western breakfast was OK just needs a few "tweeks". Only real issue is the Hotel is right next to the train tracks which makes getting around a little more challenging. Overall it was OK for the price.

close to GZ rail station to HK
I choose this hotel and stayed here for the first time, Looking at the map., it is a stone throw away from the GZ rail station, which will bring me to HK
