A great find in Guangzhou!
I did some research trying to find a suitable hotel in this district, and ended up with this one because of the ratings and reviews. And I have no regrets at all.
But beware, upon checkin no-one spoke english so it was impossible for me to communicate without help from my chinese friend. The next day I met some of the staff that could speak a bit more english. The cleaners and staff was very helpful when I used google translate to express my questions.
The hotel is situated far from the city centre, but very close to tourist attractions as the Canton Tower and the river cruises. If you´re thinking finding a hotel in this area this is a great find. Situated around 5-10 min walk from the metro station, but the metros are so packed and taxis are so cheap in China, so don´t bother about the metro if you´re a tourist.
The price was not bad at all, and we got a nice two floor suite with nice furnitures, well equipped and with free wi-fi. The internet connection was very unstable, but nice speed on the connection at most times. The hotel grounds was very nice, especially in night time. Lovely atmosphere. The small table outside the garden rooms was also much appreciated.
Highly recommended, but mostly for chinese speaking guests!

We booked a standard room, but when we turned up, there was no vacancy. They upgraded us to a superior room at the same price. Very good hotel and service.
