Important conferences and seminars were held on September 6, the second day of Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair 2012. At the Asian Watch Conference, keynote speaker Mr Shang Jianguang, Vice President and General Manager, Zhuhai Rossini Watch Industry Ltd, shared the company's success story and business development strategies.

In addition, a press conference was held announcing the 19th Asian Horological Trade and Industry Promotion Conference, which will be held on 23-25 October. The theme of the conference will be “Innovations Create Opportunities”, and it will be attended almost 500 guests involved in manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing in the horological industry in more than 10 Asian countries and regions.

The seminar, which was entitled “Emerging Market for Watches” and took place at the Brand Name Gallery Wine Cellar, attracted a great deal of attention, with its focus on the key market of India. Speaker Mr Rajeev Chopra, Chairman and Managing Director, Prime Retail India Ltd, provided a wealth of the latest information for those keen to break into the Indian market.
