Wireless network in the Canton Fair complex during the 112th session covers indoor and outdoor exhibition halls, and public areas like the Pearl Promenade and coffee shops. Canton Fair provides free wifi access with limited hours and paid access with unlimited hours for users to choose.
1. Free Access with Limited Hours
1.1 New Practice
During the 111th session, users who choose free access can login and use the Internet all day long; if they don’t logout, other users cannot get online because wifi resource in the Canton Fair complex is limited. This service model caused inconvenience for many users. So the 112th Canton Fair has adopted a new model: 2 hours of free Internet access (with no dataflow limit) is provided to buyers every day. It will satisfy users’ basic business demand and can also ensure free Internet access for more people. Users who need to use the Internet for longer time can choose to pay for wifi access with unlimited time at 150 Yuan per phase.

Account and Password:User account is the number of Canton Fair badge (below the barcode), and password is 88888888. Both the account and the password are effective throughout the entire phase.
1.3 How to Connect / Disconnect
Users can go to specific locations (please consult on-site service spots of Customer Service Center or refer to the wifi leaflet) for assistance if the connection failed. The SSID of free wifi in the complex is: Cantonfair-free. Wireless network includes Http, QQ, MSN and Email services, but not authorized or portal services such as stock, special softwares.
Step 1: Search for wireless network “Cantonfair-free” and connect to it.
Step 2: Open a browser, access any website, and complex wifi authentication page will pop out. Type in the right user account (badge number) and password (88888888), click “Login”, and you are connected (Please do not close this page when connected).
To disconnect the wifi, please click “Logout” in the authentication page, and then timing will stop. If you close the authentication page directly, wifi will be disconnected 2 minutes later and timing will stop; when you get online again, you will be reminded about the remaining time for free access.
Remarks:
Since there are many free users and the wifi bandwidth is limited, it is possible that you can not connect to the network or the speed is low. Your understanding is appreciated. If you have any questions, please call 4000-888-999.
2. Paid Access with Unlimited Hours
2.1 Account and Password
Users can pay 150 Yuan per phase at Customer Service Center spots to get a prepaid Internet card (your account and password are on it).
2.2 How to Connect
Users can go to specific locations (please consult on-site service spots of Customer Service Center or refer to the wifi leaflet) for assistance if the connection failed. The SSID of paid wifi in the complex is: Cantonfair-vip. Wireless network includes Http, QQ, MSN and Email services, but not authorized or portal services such as stock, special softwares.
Step 1: Search for wireless network “Cantonfair-vip” or “Cantonfair-vip-a”, type in password: 88888888, and connect to it.
Step 2: Open a browser, access any website, and complex wifi authentication page will pop out, type in the account and password in the prepaid Internet card, and then you are connected (Please do not close this page when connected).
To disconnect, please click “Logout” just like free wifi.
