2012 Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair

Following its successful launch in 2010, from April 20 to 23, 2012 the Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair returns for its third edition, having already become a firm fixture on the global sourcing calendar. The 2011 show attracted 220 exhibitors from 11 countries & regions, displaying a huge array of furnishing textiles for the home, and drew in over 14,000 buyers from 117 countries & regions, eager to source the latest ideas in home furnishings and textiles.

Premium zone

A key feature of the show is the Hall of Glamour, a premium section that showcases top-of-the-range home furnishings and household textiles, including branded products.

Home in on your speciality

The show strives to keep visitors up to date with developments in the world of home furnishings and textiles by putting the accent on key categories and current trends. Themed zones also make it easier for buyers to home in on those sectors of significance to their own business. Among the special highlights of the 2012 show are:

    Upholstery & furnishing products – the zone for cushions and cushion covers, decorative fabrics, furniture fabrics and textile wall coverings
    Window′s fashion & accessories – a new zone featuring woven curtain fabrics, ready-made curtains, blinds and related accessories
    Baby & bedroom textiles
    Bathroom & kitchen textiles
    Carpet & floor coverings
    Green products – an increasingly important zone that puts the spotlight on items produced in a sustainable manner, or that use recycled and reusable materials.

Double sourcing

The fair also provides buyers with a unique double sourcing opportunity, thanks to it being staged concurrently with the acclaimed Hong Kong Houseware Fair – Asia′s No.1 event of its kind, which in 2011 attracted 2,081 exhibitors and over 24,000 buyers. Buyers can take advantage of the myriad chances on offer to search new avenues and fresh directions to take their business to another level, as well as to get a truly global view of the latest trends in the homeware industry.
