China International Furniture Fair Guangzhou 2009--Home Furniture

Established as Asia''s Furniture Sourcing Center, the 23rd CIFF is to be held on March 18th to 21st and 27th to 30th, 2009 respectively, at China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex. 18th to 21st is for home furniture, and 27th to 30th for office furniture.

The brand of CIFF has been built up as the No.1 furniture show in Asia and one of the leading events in the world. And CIFF 2009, insisting on the position of balancing "Export Orientation" with domestic market, will keep progress steadily on the basis of over eleven years experience.

CIFF 2008 March made a great success by enlarging its size to 450,000 sq. m. and hosting 2,596 domestic and overseas exhibitors. The buyers amounted to 123,241, 30,968 of which were overseas buyers from 159 countries with the proportion accounting for over one forth of the total. More than 200 professional media of furniture industry throughout the world reported the event.

Pazhou Complex

The first stage project of Pazhou Complex covers a ground area of 430,000 square meters with the structural area of 395,000 square meters. With 13 exhibition halls on the first and second floors, Pazhou Complex has an indoor exhibition area of 130,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 22,000 square meters, being the largest exhibition center in Asia. The Complex has been in operation since the end of 2002. China Export Commodities Fair (Canton Fair ) started to use Pazhou Complex in the 95th Canton Fair held in April 2004, and from then on two sessions of Canton Fair were held simultaneously in both Pazhou Complex and Liuhua Complex. Yet, from the 104th Canton Fair, all three phases will be held in the Pazhou Complex, while Liuhua Complex will no longer be used.
