There are more than 7,000 buses and over 350 bus lines operating in Guangzhou. Bus is the main transportation tool for local residents, but quite complicated for strangers to Guangzhou, thus we do not recommend for foreigners unless there is a guide. There are also 48 night lines in Guangzhou.
During the Canton Fair, temporary bus lines will be set up to meet the traffic needs.
Fees
Most air-conditioned buses will charge CNY 2.00 and non-air-conditioned ones CNY 1.00.
For buses running longer distance (to Nansha, Zengcheng, etc), fees will range from CNY 3.00 to CNY 20.00. |
